Shorthand Calligraphy Sheets

Technical Note: The sheets were created entirely by the author in 2010 using an opaque BIC ballpoint pen, with a thick 1.0 mm line and black ink. The strokes exhibit particularly intense black density and opacity which, according to comparisons made by the author, cannot be reproduced using specimens from the same product line available in 2026. This observation refers to the visual appearance of the ink and does not, by itself, seek to establish a particular chemical composition or the cause of the differences.

The originals are preserved in the author’s private collection. The sheets displayed here and on the blog La Taquigrafía correspond to digitizations made in 2010 using the scanner integrated into an HP Photosmart C4780 Series multifunction printer.
